While it is preseason, the first competition for the Knoxville Boys Track and Field Squad will be Tuesday at the Iowa State Indoor Meet. Coach Eric Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they will not look for who places where, he wants to see who can compete and get out of the blocks the best. Kellar adds many of the younger runners will go along because he wants to see a baseline for their times. He adds and indoor track is shorter than an outdoor track so Kellar says it will not a true idea of their times.
