Some roads in Marion County have reopened, but several more remain closed due to flooding caused by melting snow or precipitation as the spring thaw continues.

The Marion County Road Department says they have reopened 108th from Perry to Pierce, 25th Pl. south of Highway 92 and Quebec Drive from 30th to 40th.

But nearly a dozen roads remain shut down as the water slowly recedes; the Road Department also reports some streets will be in need of repair, even after the water disappears.

Roads still closed as of Monday afternoon include:

Coolidge (Swan to 25th)
60th (@Briggs)
Dubuque (140th to 160th)
Elk Horn (Dubuque to Park Hills)
160th (N of Jersey)
115th (Illinois to G40)
Kennedy (150th to S71)
County Line Rd. (190th to 200th)
200th (Beardsley to County Line)
Beardsley (190th to 200th)
130th (E. of Hwy 14)
