How the Knoxville School District is dealing with large deficits in some of its school meal accounts is on the agenda for tonight’s school board meeting.
The district has heard from the Iowa Department of Education about a large number of unpaid school lunch balances; its communications with the Department on the subject will be presented to the Board.
The school board will also be asked to consider implementing a new technology plan, as well as a lease purchase agreement with Apple for new computer technology.
And the board is expected to schedule a public hearing on its budget for the coming fiscal year for its meeting on April 8th; a summary of the budget for public study prior to the meeting is also up for board approval.
The Knoxville School Board will convene its meeting at 5:30 p.m.
