The PCM boys’ track team opened the season last night at East Marshall and finished second out of six teams.

The Mustangs claimed 139 points while Dike-New Hartford took top honors with 167 points. The distance medley relay team bested the whole field with a time of 3:56.77. PCM had a plethora of second place finishes including Connor Bennett in the 400m (58.10), Cole Dustin in the 110m hurdles (16.93), Beau Webb in the 1600m (5:14.15), Payton Strovers in long jump (20’4’’), Isaac Telfer in the shot put (45’0’’), 4x200m (1:37.11), and shuttle hurdle (1:05.2).

The Mustangs get back on the track tomorrow at Roland-Story. Results for the girls’ team at Davis County were not readily available.
