The Central Baseball team earned their first conference win of the year, defeating Coe 8-7 in Cedar Rapids in a makeup game from the weekend series. The Dutch avoided the series sweep by taking a 6-2 lead, giving up five Coe runs, an battling back in the 7th to get back on top. Kaiden Fiebelkorn was 2/4 with two runs and two RBI, and Ryan Bouwman was on base four times, with two hits, two walks, and two runs scored. Marcus Wenzel earned the win in relief, blanking Coe in a 2-hit, 3 ⅔ innings performance. Central nexts hosts Wartburg for a three game series this Friday and Saturday in Pella.
