The Knoxville Girls Golf Squad’s season opening meet yesterday was rained out. The Panthers were hoping to get the season underway after alternating inside and outside practices. Coach Barry Smith tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they have added the chance for indoor practices this spring. Smith says that has aided in their season preparation. The girls will have to wait until Tuesday to get their season started at Pine Knolls Country Club in Knoxville against Carlisle and Clarke.
