
Eight members of the Knoxville High School Mock Trial team have received state recognition following the just-completed mock trial competition.
Senior Tierney Heffron has been named All-State Outstanding Attorney, while attorneys Nyan Baker and Cade McDonald have each received All-State Honorable Mention.
Also getting All-State Honorable Mention are witnesses Nash Linsley, Maddi Graves, Johanna Leonard, Lane Franck and Erin Graeve.
Tierney and Nyan are graduating this year, and will be joining the mock trial team at Simpson College.
The mock trial team was coached by Marion County Attorney Ed Bull and Lisa Hermsen from the Knoxville School District.
