Pella Christian hosted several area schools for their annual track and field invitational Tuesday night on Eagle Lane.

While the event takes place at the home of the Eagles, it’s become friendly territory for their crosstown rivals, as Pella High athletes swept the event, with the Lady Dutch scoring 194 team points and the Pella boys racking up 166 to take home the first place trophies. The PCM girls placed second at 105 points and the Mustangs boys at 122 in 3rd. Pleasantville was 3rd in the girls standings at 90.5 and 7th among the boys at 45. Host Pella Christian had 67 team points for the 7th place spot among the girls, and the Eagles boys scored 61 to place 6th as a team.
