Perennials from Buxton Park will be on sale at the end of April during the annual Buxton Park Plant Sale at the City Greenhouse at Pickard Park. The plant sale supports Buxton Park and the gardens around the city, with the plants on sale from 9am to 6pm on Friday, and 8am to noon on Saturday. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News there is a special sale for Indianola Park Friends.

“So if you are an Indianola Park Friends member, you can go even earlier on Thursday from 5-7pm and get an early look and buy things there. They are even serving wine and lemonade and canapes. If you aren’t a park friends member, you can join that night, memberships start at $30.”
