The Melcher-Dallas boys and girls track and field squads head their separate ways tonight. The girls are at the Clarke Invitational while the boys head to the PCM meet being held at Saydel. Coach Bart Elliott tells KNIA Sports with the calendar shortly returning to May and those money meets like conference and state qualifiers, he is trying to the see what are the best combinations to score the most points and get the best athletes to state. Boys golf is on the links today as are many of the area teams heading to the Moravia Invitational for a noon start.
