Tomorrow is the first Shop Local Saturday of 2019 put on by the Indianola Chamber of Commerce. The chamber asks all Indianola residents to stay in town to eat at local restaurants, and shop at local businesses. Chamber President Brenda Easter tells KNIA News that every dollar spent here in Indianola stays here, and goes to our local schools, roads, trails, and more, all for the betterment of the community. The Indianola Chamber is also asking people to share their experiences from shop local Saturday on social media. The KNIA Big Red Radio will be on location on the downtown Indianola Square, playing music for shoppers.
