PCM ran away with its own meet at Saydel on Tuesday…and Knoxville came to play as well finishing third place. The Panthers got two-first place medals from Jordan Bacon in the 1600, and Alex Buckley in the discus he was also second place in the shot put. Several second place medals including Kieren Nichols in the 200, Tyler Kearney in the 110 and 400 hurdles, both personal records. Also getting second place was the Sprint Medley Relay of Carter Bailey, Keegan Cox, Colton Jones, and Nichols in a school record time of 1:40.10. Also finishing in second place was the distance medley and shuttle hurdle relay teams. PCM racked up 184.5 team points in dominating the meet. The Mustangs went one/two in the 100 with Payton Strovers and Connor Bennett, respectively, Strovers also took gold in the long jump, Nigel Sperfslage won the 200, Jacob Van Winkle took the 400, Cole Dustin won the 110 hurdles, Seth Greiner was second and Isaac Telfer was third in the discus. The Mustangs also took golf in their fair share of relays winning the 4×100, 400, shuttle hurdle and distance medley relays. The Panthers will now turn their attention to the South Central Conference meet next Thursday, while PCM will look to the Drake Relays on Saturday with its 4×100 boys squad on Saturday.
