With some events being pushed back due to rain, several Indians spring sports teams braved the inclement weather to compete in several different sports.

The Indians boys tennis team faced a two hour rain delay at Newton, but came away with a dominating 10-1 victory. Earning wins for the Indians was the entire singles section including Bradyn Upchurch, Colton Miller, Christian Jauron, Ian Smith, Matthew Beals, and Joe Menke. On the doubles side, Jauron and Smith, Beals and Nick Tremel, Matt and Curran Wadle, and James Howard and Tom Krapfl all earned victories.

The Indianols girls soccer team fell to Des Moines Lincoln at the Cownie Soccer Complex 3-1. Picking up the lone goal for the Indians was Camdyn Gross. The boys soccer squad fell to Perry 2-0 on their home field. Both soccer teams will be in action Tuesday taking on Grinnell.
