Those coming into Pella to enjoy the tulips near downtown are encouraged by the Pella Police Department to use Exit 42 (Clark Street to Oskaloosa Street) or 44 (250th to Vermeer Road) to access the community and avoid West Washington Street if possible, due to ongoing road work. Exit 40 is open, but several traffic delays have been reported in that area.
