The City of Indianola is holding a public open house for residents to to view the streetscape master plan, as put together by consultants Bolton and Menk Inc. The streetscape master plan details what the community vision will be for downtown Indianola, as Community and Economic Development Director Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News the public input on this project is crucial.

“A preliminary streetscape plan steering committee met with Bolton and Menk so they could get input and present some concepts to see the reception of what they had envisioned. What they will do is take a hybrid of some of those concepts and present it to the public for even more feedback and vision during the open house.”

The open house will be at the Sagewood Event and Meeting Venue, at 117 E Salem Avenue, on May 15th from 7-8:30pm.
