The annual tradition to kick off Tulip Time returns this evening. Jim Hibma with Crossroads of Pella says the annual Klompen Classic begins with the free kids classic at 6 p.m., followed by the 5K at Main and Washington Streets at 7 p.m. Hibma encourages the entire community to come together to support the people the organization helps. Registration is $30, and can be done online at crossroadspella.org or on-site, with all proceeds benefiting programs at Crossroads of Pella.
