The big moment is coming for aspiring cheerleaders at Knoxville High School; tryouts for next year’s cheer squads is one week away.

Students are invited to try out for openings on the football, basketball, wrestling and competition cheer squads for next school year.

Tryouts will take place on Saturday, May 18th at the Knoxville Middle School gym beginning at 9:00 a.m. and running for as long as necessary.

Practices will be held Monday through Thursday in the high school gym, starting at 3:30 p.m. They will go until 5:30 on Monday and Tuesday, and 6:30 on Wednesday and Thursday. Another session will be held at the middle school gym on Friday from 3:30 to 6:30.
