A Luis Ramos goal with just over six minutes left was the difference as Knoxville defeated Pella 1-0 Friday night at Ken Locke Stadium. Both teams were defending well and both goalies were on their game making stops. Pella Coach Mark Solomon said Sam Warner was excellent making five saves. Knoxville Coach Dylan Mick told KRLS Sports he finally got a full 80 minutes from his guys. Knoxville goal keeper Wyatt Darnell came up with 13 saves, one in the second half where the ball was tantalizing close to going in for Pella. The win moves Knoxville to 9-4 on the season while Pella falls to 7-7.
