Melcher-Dallas softball squad was looking to get 2019 started yesterday, but rain has washed out the first two games of the season. Monday the Saints were supposed to get started at Cardinal, but got rained out, as did their game against Lamoni last night was washed out. The next opportunity to open the season is Thursday as the Saints will take on their arch-rivals in Marion County Twin Cedars. That game is set to get underway at 7:30.
