The Twin Cedars Softball Squad remains unbeaten to start the 2019 season as the Sabers went 2-0 at the Southeast Warren Invitational on Saturday. Playing a round-robin format the Sabers crushed West Central Valley 10-0 in five innings. Grace Bailey got the win going all five innings pitching a three hit shutout and striking out seven. Offensively for Twin Cedars, the Sabers collected 11 hits. It was a little more of a challenge in game two as the Sabers beat Southeast Warren for the second time in less than a week this time by a score of 4-2. Ali Mockenhaupt went the distance allowing just two hits. Caity Reed went 3/4 with three doubles. Combined with what she did in the first game and her day was 5/7. Twin Cedars will travel to Moravia on Tuesday.
