The Indianola girls soccer team takes on Dowling Catholic today in class 3A regional action, playing for the first time after a long layoff of more than a week. The Indians last played against Knoxville on May 20th, and ended the regular season falling in their last five games. The winner of Indianola/Dowling will take on the winner of Iowa City High/Iowa City West next Monday, with the higher seed hosting.

The softball squad will take on Newton for a doubleheader, a contest that was rescheduled to tonight after being postponed from Tuesday. The Indians are 1-1 to start off their 2019 campaign, with the 1-1 Cardinals also looking to get back over .500 after falling to Ankeny Centennial last week. Action starts tonight at 5:30pm.
