Live music, lawn games, and food signaled the start of summer at the Indianola Public Library Thursday evening. The library hosted their Kickoff to Summer Block Party, with music by the Drama Kings, and seeing the residents of Indianola flood the area to celebrate the end of the school year. The Kickoff to Summer Block Party also signals the start of many summer programs at the library, such as the summer reading program kicking into high gear, and other kids and adult activities taking advantage of the warm weather.
