Movies are often shown at the Knoxville Public Library, but one coming up this month will be a unique experience for viewers as they get to interact with other audiences across the state.
The library will be hosting a screening of the action thriller “The Meg” on Wednesday, June 26th; Holly Shelford from the Knoxville Library tells KNIA/KRLS News they will be enhancing the screening by allowing audiences to share their reactions.
“It’s called MuvChat; it’s an interactive movie, and what we’ll be doing at the same time is there will be other libraries across the state of Iowa that will be watching this movie at the same exact time. And we will be able to interact with all of those other libraries of what’s happening in the movie,” Shelford says.
This movie is rated PG-13; it starts at 1:00 p.m. and there is no charge for admission.
