Second Reformed Church in Pella is once again helping fight childhood hunger with the return of the summer lunch program. Pastor Sophie Matthonet Vander-Well tells KNIA/KRLS News they are serving lunches daily to any children who need a meal Mondays through Fridays from 12 to 12:30 p.m, beginning Monday, June 10th at the church. On average, volunteers serve 50 meals daily to all children who come to their location, free of charge.
