The first of three Friday Night Live concerts in Indianola this summer will take place tonight at Memorial Park. Indianola Chamber of Commerce President Brenda Easter tells KNIA News the concerts will be a mix of styles and genres, hopefully to fit everyone’s preferences.

“We have Red Dirt Renegade coming in first, which is a country rock style type of band which is very popular and I think something people will enjoy. But coming later this summer we have Trainwreck, which is a rock and roll band, and then for our last one we have Ripcord which is a cover band that plays multiple styles.”

Easter also said the Friday Night Live event isn’t just about the concerts, there are activities for kids, food, and a beverage garden for adults. The concert is tonight from 6 to 9pm, and costs $5 for ages 11 and up.
