The PCM Baseball Squad finally showed a little muscle last night in a 12-1 shellacking of Roland-Story, a game that ended after six innings due to the run rule. Wes Cummings, Preston Van Wyk, Olin Meinders, and Derek Brown all brought their big bats as they had 11 of PCM’s 14 hits on the night. Brown likely has the highlight as he sent everyone home an innings early with a three run home run to collect his fourth RBI. Brown was also the winner on the mound throwing four innings and striking out six.

The PCM Softball Squad came from behind to beat Grandview Christian on Friday night 5-3. The Mustangs got down early 3-0 due to errors and mental mistakes, but Coach Shaun Hudnut told KRLS Sports that did not get his girls down as they bounced back to take the lead for good in the fifth. Camryn Wignall went 2/4, one of those hits being a triple and two RBI.
