The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has added several life-jacket loaner stations at beaches for use by all. Park Ranger Tracy Spry says they’ve expanded the locations and amount of jackets to ensure all who enter the water are doing so safely. She remains all swimmers and boaters that waters can be rough at times on the lake, and wearing a life jacket is the best way to prevent drowning.
