This past Friday the building for the new Knoxville Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh Express gas station arrived and was installed at its new location. Construction continues on the new gas station despite heavy rain throughout May delaying portions of the construction. According to Hy-Vee staff a tentative date of July 23rd is targeted for the opening of the station. The new station is located directly across from the main gate of the Knoxville Raceway. Hy-Vee says the station will be up and running in time for the 59th Annual Knoxville Nationals.
