Knoxville School Resource Officer Kyle Keller has been appointed as the Vice President of the Iowa Association of School Resource Officers (IASRO). According to Officer Keller the IASRO hosts events to provide learning and networking opportunities for school resource officers throughout Iowa. Keller who as been a member of the IASRO for 3 years and has served on the associations board for 2 years, tells KNIA/KRLS News its means a lot to him to be named Vice President and he knows it will take more time away from his family but he knows they will understand and he looks forward to helping out with more training for School Resource Officers (SRO) and school staff. Officer Keller adds, being an SRO in the small community that we have is a great thing. He says he wants everyone to know how important it is to have an SRO in our schools and hopes to continue to receive support from the Knoxville school district and the city.
