The Knoxville School Board will meet in regular session today. The board will consider an overnight trip request from the Knoxville high school baseball team to travel to Mason City for a pair of games on Friday, July 5th and Saturday, July 6th. They will consider a staff activities assignment proposal for extra curricular activities as well as consider an at risk program proposal to potentially hire an additional health associate. The board will consider a diesel fuel purchase agreement as well an emergency operations plan for the school district. They will consider a proposal from Raptor Technologies to potentially provide the district with enterprise-level integrated school safety technologies as well as consider an insurance renewal with the lowa Public School Insurance Program. The board will have a second reading of the 500 series polices, receive a school board assessment and set a date for the July school board meeting. The meeting will begin at 5:30 pm inside school district administrative offices.
