The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular tomorrow. The board will discuss a resolution authorizing execution of application for the voluntary annexation of real estate for the city of Pella. They will discuss and take necessary action regarding the Housing Trust Fund as well as assignment of a county held tax sale and renewal of a class C liquor license and Sunday sales for Elk Rock Event Center. The board will discuss and take possible action regarding the tobacco permit renewal for New Star Newton LLC’s Pella location as well as consider a resolution regarding the fiscal year 2020 Marion County budget expense appropriations. They will also hold two closed sessions the first regarding matters presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent. The second closed session is to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance, or discharge is being considered.
