Both Knoxville summer kids squads will be playing on Panther Drive on Monday as Knoxville hosts Clarke. The girls lost to the Indians early in the season in a game that Coach Coy Hupfeld says they did not play well to start off. The Panthers stand at 6-3 in the South Central Conference and while not out of the running for the conference title will need some help. The Panthers can also put a dent into the Indians’ plans with a win. On the baseball diamond across Panther Drive, Knoxville looks to put a winning streak together. The Panthers host Clarke in a varsity double header. Coach Matt Miller tells KRLS Sports they have become more aggressive on the bases to take advantage of manufacturing runs.
