The Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad scored two runs in the first and two more in the second and Emilie Krpan’s pitching made it stand up as the Saints defeated Southeast Warren 4-1 on Wednesday night. Riley Enfield started the scoring with a solo home run in the first inning. The Warhawks were shut out until the seventh when they pushed across a run but could get no more. Krpan struck out ten batters and scattered five hits and walked just two. The Saints are now 21-4 on the season and have won eight in a row. The Melcher-Dallas baseball Squad lost to Ankeny Christian 13-3 in five innings last night. Dalton Lovell continues to hit well clubbing a two run home run, his fifth of the season.
