The second of three Friday Night Live concerts will take place this evening in Indianola, with the band Train Wreck performing. Indianola Chamber of Commerce President Brenda Easter tells KNIA News the Friday Night Live Concerts evolved as a way to provide an activity for residents to stay in the area, and the response from the community has been amazing.
“These have gotten more and more popular over the years, and we try to get a variety of music genres so everyone can enjoy listening to at least something over the course of the summer. This week an additional form of entertainment will take place, with putt-putt golf provided by Pop Up Games, sponsored by the Christian Opportunity Center.”
The concert is from 6 to 9pm at Memorial Park, with food vendors, an adult beverage garden, and a playground for the kids. The cost to enter is $5 for ages 11 and up.
