Two youth baseball team in Pella won state championships over the weekend. The Pella Predators won in the 12 and under league of the Iowa USSSA AA Division II Baseball tournament, as did the Pella Crush in the 10 and under class in AA Division I. Additionally, the Pella Pirates in the 13U division II and the Pella Nationals in the 14U AA Elite Divisions were 4th place in their tournaments. The Predators were formed last year and are made up of nine kids from Pella Community and one from Pella Christian schools.
