The Class 2A #3 Pleasantville Softball Squad fell to class 4A #1 Carlisle on Friday 12-4. Carlisle struck first and often as the Wildcats got a six/nothing lead before the Trojans plated two in the third inning. Carlisle would respond with five more before Pleasantville would score again in the sixth. Abby DeJoode took the loss going five innings, the Trojans were limited to just four hits. Pleasantville plays Keokuk and Roland-Story today. The Trojans baseball squad fell to West Marshall 11-10. Coach Sheldon Card told KNIA Sports the left too many runners on base.
