The Knoxville Federated Garden Club held their “Sitting Pretty” Contest and Garden Tour Saturday. Gardeners throughout Knoxville stopped in at Brooks Garden in the morning to see the array of chairs designed in different garden themes. Master Gardener and Maintainer of Brooks Garden, Harve Sprafka tells KNIA/KRLS News its fun to see the different creativitity people come up with and to see that no two are a like. Sprfka says it shows the talent and the beauty that is right here in Knoxville. 

Following the contest gardeners flocked to six other locations in Knoxville as part of the Garden Tour which ended at the Bessie Spaur Butterfly Garden. Sandra Chrisman with the Knoxville Federated Garden Club says the gardens in Knoxville are some of the best around and the Bessie Spaur Butterfly Garden is looking beautiful following all the hard work the gardeners have done.
