Children in Pleasantville will get the chance to have a story read to them today by an officer with the Pleasantville Police Department. Webb Shadle Memorial Library will host Cookies with a Cop Children’s Story Time today from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Director of the library JoEllen Glick tells KNIA/KRLS News children will get to have a story read to them while also doing some arts and crafts and enjoying cookies and milk. The event is free and open to the public and no registration is required.
