After its 11-1 victory over Colfax-Mingo, the Pleasantville Baseball Squad now sets its sights on the class 2A district semi-finals tonight with a game against top seeded Woodward-Granger. The Hawks come in sporting a 22-7 record, and a 16-6 West Central Conference record finishing in third place. Pleasantville Coach Sheldon Card tells KNIA Sports one thing he has liked about his team this season is they do not get up too high or down too low, which make it a fun team to coach. The Trojans and Hawks will be the nightcap of a double header at Woodward-Granger High School with Des Moines Christian and Madrid playing in the other semi-final making a West Central Conference tournament. The two winners will come back Saturday in Woodward for the district title.
