On Thursday, July 25th the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics (KHC) will host a 55+ Health Fair from  4-7 p.m. The event will feature complimentary health screenings, informational displays from community organizations and hospital programs that offer services to support an individual’s health and lifestyle. Katrina Nelson with the Hospital tells KNIA/KRLS News when people arrive at the health fair, they will be met immediately by all the vendors. She says there will be vendors all throughout the lobby as well as in meeting rooms to allow participants to walk around leisurely and find out more information. Complimentary refreshments will be provided as well as giveaways and drawings for door prizes.Nelson says the 55+ Health Fair is an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the services and resources available in the community and at KHC. The event is free and open to the public.
