An underdog charge through the postseason came to an end for Pella Christian as they fell to No. 2 North Linn 8-0 in a substate final heard live on 92.1 KRLS. The Eagles could not slow down the speedy Lynx offense, led by Jake and Austin Hilman, who combined to scored six of the eight runs scored, with three stolen bases between them. The Eagles were no hit by Jake Hilmer as well, who struck out 15 and faced just two over the minimum. Head Coach Jeff Bruxvoort says North Linn did everything they wanted and did so early, to kill any potential upset momentum. The Eagles finish 17-15 and say farewell to seniors Will Dembski, Lawson Bruxvoort, and Cole Webster.
