Tomorrow morning the new Knoxville Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh Express gas station will open its doors for business for the first time. Store Director of the Knoxville Hy-Vee Kelly Kayser tells KNIA/KRLS News one aspect of the new gas station that she is excited for is to be able to use the Hy-Vee app at the pump to scan for fuel saver points. Kayser says customers won’t have to use their card if they have the Hy-Vee app on their phones. Construction on the new station began in April and was delayed due to heavy rains throughout the spring which pushed the opening to tomorrow. Along with different fuel saver deals throughout the day to celebrate the opening Hy-Vee will also be grilling hot dogs at the location from 11 to 1 pm.
