While it was not the season that Pleasantville Baseball is used to, the Trojans would make improvements throughout the season. After a shaky first half of the season Pleasantville got better in many aspects of the season. One of the highlights of the season was the final week as the Trojans on back-to-back nights beat ranked Martensdale-St. Mary’s and Southeast Warren. Coach Sheldon Card tells KNIA Sports whole the wins and loses did not come as plentiful as in past seasons, it was still fun to mold a young group and see them improve. The Trojans finished 18-17 and 13-8 in the West Central Conference, good enough for fifth place.
