It was a dream freshman season for Central College cross-country runner Miranda Kruiswyk, capped off by a trip to the NCAA national meet.
On November 10th in Waverly, Kruiswyk finished ninth place at the NCAA central regional meet in a time of 22:28.8 seconds. It was her fourth top-10 finish in six races last fall, including a championship at the Dutch Invitational in her first collegiate meet.
She finished 144th in the 279-runner national field on November 17th, crossing the finish line of the 6,000-meter course at Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wisconsin in a time of 22:51.7.
