With the 59th Annual Knoxville Nationals right around the corner the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce would like to remind residents and race fans about the Nationals Community-Wide Garage Sale. The garage sale will be held from Wednesday, August 7th through Saturday, August 10th. Director of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, Hannah Vander Veer tells KNIA/KRLS News it’s always been a tradition that local folks have their garage sales during Nationals, so this year the chamber decided to make a Facebook event that anyone holding a garage sale could post their information so anyone looking for a sale would have an easier time finding them. Anyone interested in participating in the Nationals Community-Wide Garage Sale is asked to post to the address of the sale, hours the sale is open, highlight the items for sale and photos to the Nationals Community-Wide Garage Sale events page on Facebook.
