A new restaurant is open with the goal of bringing authentic Mexican cuisine to the Tulip City. Cantaritos Grill And Cantina will welcome customers this weekend to the space formerly occupied by Kaldera’s Restaurant on Washington Street. Owner Ritchie Hernandez has been living in Pella and working in restaurants for nearly two decades, and he is excited to bring the cantina and restaurant to the community. Cantaritos opening comes at a time of redevelopment in Pella, after several food establishments closed earlier this year. PACE Alliance Executive Director Karen Eischen says the opening of new restaurants and other businesses in the community continues to show Pella is a place open for business.
