Activities continue at Lake Red Rock this weekend. A Forest Scavenger Hunt starts at 9:00 a.m. Saturday in Whitebreast Campground, where participants can search for clues about the hidden world of plants and animals in Red Rock’s woodlands. A presentation titled Building the Red Rock Dam begins at 10:00 a.m. in the Visitor Center, where a park ranger will share how the dam was built and how it changed the Red Rock area. Snake Lunchtime follows at 1:00 p.m. at the Visitor Center. The programs are free of charge and do not require preregistration.
