The Pella City Council is scheduled to receive an update about the Oskaloosa Street Corridor redevelopment plan following regular business at their meeting Tuesday. During Policy and Planning, a work session will be held to continue discussion of a moratorium on new building permits for single and two family homes along Oskaloosa Street. The halt on construction was to allow for the Pella City Council to consider options for the future development of the corridor, including proposed zoning changes. At a joint session in May, Snyder and Associates gave a detailed analysis of redevelopment options to enhance business and beautification of Oskaloosa Street. The Pella City Council will receive an update about the proposals, as well as a more refined timeline, after their regular meeting Tuesday in the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
