A single vehicle accident occurred at the corner of Jackson and North Lincoln Street Tuesday morning. According to the Knoxville Police Department the driver was headed eastbound on Jackson Street and was crossing Lincoln when she had a medical issue that caused her to lose control of the vehicle while nearly missing another vehicle before crashing into a power pole. Knoxville Fire and Rescue and the Knoxville Police Department responded to the scene. The driver was transported to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics with non life-threatening injuries.
