The Pleasantville top sports moment of the school year is the girls 4×100 track and field squad making the state meet and getting third place in that event. The team comprised of all juniors Emilee Smith, Sam Entinger, Rae Speicher, and Kasey Pelzer had twice during the season set the school record in the 4×100. After the third place showing, the team talked about running against some of the best teams in the state. All of the girls will return for their senior seasons to try to get back to the Blue Oval to win a state title.
